Mark your calendars, it’s Administrative Professionals Day on Wednesday, April 24.

It’s a special day to celebrate the hard work and key role our secretaries play in helping busy executives to function at the top of our game. This casual Italian Restaurant on Hong Kong Street by Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Beppe de Vito offers a communal feast of artisan pastas, homemade pizzas and creative cocktails. Chef LG Han continues to reinvent the New Singaporean Dining Experience with his One-Michelin starred restaurant at the Esplanade.  Working exclusively with local farmers and producers, Chef Han transforms familiar favorites and family recipes into elegant and innovative dishes in the most creative presentations. 4. Mad over Truffles at Casa Tartufo

Truffle fries are always a crowd favorite at happy hour with the team, but why not take it up a notch and indulge in the real deal at truffle specialty restaurant Casa Tartufo. Chef Alex and wife, Tammy, started their family-run restaurant in 2011 after having the truffle sandwiches in Italy which sparked their passion to recreate that experience in Singapore. A hidden gem in Ang Siang, this cosy restaurant serves up authentic truffle specialties including their signature Risotto Casa, a sea-urchin and black truffle risotto that brings out the best of freshly shaved black truffles and the umami taste of sea urchin – A decadent treat fit for any special occasion.

5. Yum Cha at Majestic Restaurant

Nothing like your average dim sum, Yum Cha at Majestic Restaurant is a culinary experience with hand-made dim sum crafted from a team of highly skilled chefs. Chef Yong Bing Ngen is the owner and head chef, with more than 35 years of experience under his belt.  Since the opening of the Majestic Restaurant in 2006 at its original location at Majestic Hotel, it has become a destination for fine Cantonese cuisine and innovative dim sum. Newly reopened at Marina One in the heart of the CBD, Chef Yong continues to serve unique dishes like Steamed Crystal Dumpling with Fresh Lobster Meat and Luffa Melon and Organic Brown Rice Roll with Prawn, Hakka Style.

Set Lunch Menus are priced from $48++ per person (minimum for 2 persons) and includes the Majestic Trio Jewellery of Dim Sum Platter. Private Rooms are available on request with a minimum spending. 

 

6. Grilled Perfection at YakiniQuest

Beef lovers will find Nirvana at YakiniQuest, Yakiniku specialists in the art of nose to tail grilled beef.  Mr Suguru Ishida, the Managing Director has a passion for Yakiniku and started a blog in 2004 travelling around Japan reviewing over 100 Yakiniku restaurants. It quickly became one of the foremost resources for Yakiniku dining experiences. He then founded the Yakiniquest restaurant in Singapore. Order the Wagyu Lover Omakase Experience, and enjoy over 7 cuts of grilled beef cuts including the signature starter of Niku Somen.
